1. Classification of DC contactor application

Contactor is an automatic control electrical appliance. Contactor is mainly used for frequently connecting breaking AC DC circuits. It has large control capacity can be operated remotely. With relay, it can realize timing operation, interlocking control, various quantitative control voltage loss undervoltage protection. It is widely used in automatic control circuit. Its main control object is motor, it can also be used to control other electric loads, such as electric heater, lighting electricity Welding machine, capacitor bank, etc. The contactor can be divided into AC contactor DC contactor according to the type of controlled current. This paper mainly introduces the common AC contactor. AC contactor can be divided into electromagnetic type vacuum type.

2. Model description of DC contactor

(1) The above models are standard models. In recent years, B series AC contactor has been newly developed, its model is Bxx.

(2) The model of electromagnetic AC contactor is CJ. The model of vacuum AC contactor is CZ.

3. Structure working principle of DC contactor electromagnetic AC contactor (1) structure:

The contactor is mainly composed of electromagnetic system, contact system, arc extinguishing system other parts.

① Electromagnetic system: the electromagnetic system includes electromagnetic coil iron core, which is an important part of the contactor, which drives the contact to close open.

② Contact system: contact is the executive part of contactor, including main contact auxiliary contact. The function of the main contact is to connect break the main circuit to control the larger current, while the auxiliary contact is in the control circuit to meet the requirements of various control modes.

③ Arc extinguishing system: the arc extinguishing device is used to ensure that the arc generated when the contact is disconnected the circuit can be extinguished reliably to reduce the damage of the arc to the contact. In order to quickly extinguish the arc when it is disconnected, the contactor is usually equipped with arc extinguishing device. Generally, the semi sealed longitudinal seam ceramic arc extinguishing cover is used, a strong magnetic arc blowing circuit is equipped.

④ Other parts: insulation shell, spring, short circuit ring, transmission mechanism, etc.

2) Working principle: when the electromagnetic coil of the contactor is energized, the reaction force of the spring the weight of the iron core will keep the main contact in the off position. When the electromagnetic coil is connected to the control voltage (generally rated voltage) through the control circuit, the electromagnetic force overcomes the reaction force of the spring, draws the armature to the stator core, drives the main contact to close, connects the circuit, then the auxiliary contact acts.
